Sleeping Positions play a role in
how you feel the next day.
General guidelines for sleeping:
so that your back is in a neutral position. The neutral position keeps the
back in its natural 3 front-to-back curves that give the spine an "S"
a towel roll to support your lower back or place a pillow under your knees
when sleeping on your back.
a pillow between your knees when sleeping on your side.
a pillow under knees if desired when sleeping on your back.
To rise from bed:
onto your side and bend both knees.
your feet over the side of the bed as you push with both arms to sit up.
to the edge of the bed and position your feet under your buttocks.
up, keeping your back in the neutral position.
Position to avoid:
on your stomach should be avoided
